The Project

CPB Contractors, in Joint Venture with Sedgman, SCJV has been selected by BHP to undertake the Western Ridge Crusher Project, involving construction of a new primary crusher, a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker, and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30Mtpa. The Project is located on Nyiyaparli Country, approximately 21 Kilometres southwest of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Works are commencing now and will go through until mid 2026.

Your Opportunity

As the Senior Contracts Administrator, you will be part of a commercial team working closely with the Commercial Manager and Project Manager to effectively manage the procurement and administration of all subcontractor and supplier contracts. In addition you will ensure integrity across our project is maintained and enhanced through contract and commercial activities, in conjunction with timely reporting. This role will be site based working a FIFO 14/7 roster.

 Our minimum requirements for these roles are:

  • Degree Qualified (Construction Management/Economics, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field)
  • 10 years + relevant industry experience
  • Capability to manage and lead a team including planning, allocation and monitoring of work/deliverables, performance management, coaching and setting example behaviours.
  • Experience in drafting of tender documentation and management of the tender process to award, including all necessary recommendations and approvals.
  • Experience in drafting and administration of subcontracts through to final account, including management of payment claims, variations and correspondence.
  • Experienced in month end cost reporting and forecasting.
  • Experienced in influencing external parties to assist in the achievement of team goals.
  • Knowledge of traditional construction and project management methods, procedures and processes, including cost and time control and management, and be proficient in application of word processing, spreadsheets, ERP and cost management software as a minimum.
