About the Opportunity

The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV) – is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities. We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer with NV1 Security Clearance to be part of our team on the redevelopment which covers the Albury Wodonga Military Area, Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) and the RAAF Base Wagga.

The role accountabilities include:

  • Managing the effective set-up, delivery and completion of the project including establishing relevant systems
  • Managing and monitoring the completion of the project to ensure programme, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved and taking prompt corrective action where required
  • Effectively managing the handover process to the client
  • Reviewing design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements and job safety analysis and quality

Minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Current holder of NV1 Government Security Clearance (must have)
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering with minimum 7 years relevant experience
  • Development methodologies to ensure compliance with scope of works and technical criteria (within discipline)
  • Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning up to 3 months ahead, weekly reporting on progress against plan and cost, reporting on risk and developing and implementing risk treatment plans
  • Development of SHEQ process and procedures and managing others in conducting SHEQ process and procedures.
  • Candidates must have the ability to travel for work.
