The Project 

Queensland Government-owned corporation, Sunwater is planning for the construction of a new dam wall immediately downstream from the existing Paradise Dam on the Burnett River.

The project is a large, multi-year project that will ensure a safe and secure water supply for the Bundaberg region for future generations.

This role is part of the Paradise Alliance, formed by Sunwater to deliver the Paradise Dam Improvement Project, with CPB Contractors / Georgiou appointed as major construction partner and GHD as the ongoing design partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the uploading, registering, distribution, and tracking of project documents through Teambinder to ensure timely and accurate submissions to clients and stakeholders
  • Coordinate internal reviews and responses to client comments on project documentation, ensuring alignment with deliverables and deadlines
  • Provide training and ongoing support to team members on the Teambinder system, acting as the system champion to improve document control processes
  • Support the development and maintenance of the Project Management System (PMS) and ensure accuracy in document handling and reporting, including monthly client reporting
  • Represent the project in internal and external quality audits related to document control and ensure compliance with project standards.

Requirements for this role:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a document control role using an electronic document management system (Teambinder experience preferred)
  • Proven proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience on major construction projects, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and complex documentation requirements
  • Strong communication skills and high attention to detail, with the ability to ensure document accuracy before submission
  • Willingness and ability to work initially from the Alliance office in Fortitude Valley, with future mobilisation to site (FIFO/DIDO) as required

Note this role will initially be based in our Alliance office in Brisbane but will transition to a full time, site-based basis. You must be willing to work on site either FIFO or DIDO
