What will a day in this role look like:

• Monitoring construction progress and compliance to safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Ensure all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work.
• Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project.
• Act in accordance with CPB Contractors policies, procedures and requirements relating to proper business and interpersonal conduct.
• Ensuring all workers meet site requirements prior to commencing work.
• Ensuring site wide compliance to standards, specifications, and safety.

What are we looking for you to bring to the team:

• Previous experience as a supervisor working on large scale projects within the Civil Construction industry, eg roads or buildings.
• Champion a culture of “Safety & Health above all else” and ability to conduct own work and manage teams according to site SHEQ.
• Strong people management and conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully and autonomously within a fast-paced project environment and deliver on deadlines.
• Based in Townsville or surrounding areas.
