The Project

The project is in the Defence sector on sites located in regional Western Australia. The overall project is more than 2 years in duration, involving significant construction upgrades to airfield asphalt pavements and related infrastructure assets.

Your Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Supervisor - Asphalt with airfield pavements, asphalt contracting and civil construction background, to join our multi-disciplinary project team. The role is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven and ambitious professional to enable and lead the delivery of a major business initiative within a complex project.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior project supervisory role, specifically involving crew management and asphalt pavement construction.
• Collaborative team attitude with operational leadership experience.
• Proven commitment to promoting safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Demonstrated ability in developing strong relationships with subcontractor partners, internal stakeholders, and client representatives.
• High level understanding of asphalt pavement construction processes, logistics management and site supervision.
• Extensive experience in construction roles, managing multiple pavement surfacing activities and work groups to achieve safety, quality, time and cost objectives.
• Experience with Defence processes and project delivery will be highly regarded.
• Ability to undertake the role on a 3 & 1 FIFO roster basis.
• Must meet Department of Defence security clearance requirements (DCAC)
