The Project 

The CPB Contractors, Ghella & UGL joint venture has been successful in securing the contract to deliver the $3.1bn M6 Stage 1 project.  The project will deliver the missing link from Sydney’s south to the wider Sydney motorway network making journeys easier, faster and safer. It will remove more than 2,000 trucks a day from surface roads and help return local streets to local communities. 

With works commenced in early 2022, the M6 Stage 1 project scope includes the construction of twin four-kilometre tunnels and associated works, linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue at Kogarah. 

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Warehouse Administrator to provide effective support to our Mechanical & Electrical warehouse team.

 Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinating and auditing inbound and outbound paperwork and deliveries
  • Liaising with drivers and inspecting loads are compliant with COR
  • Liaising with Engineers to confirm site delivery location, date and times
  • Assisting with loading, unloading and moving pallets to check on deliveries
  • Maintaining various registers and spreadsheets
  • General administrative duties as required

 About You

  • Experience and having a strong understanding of warehouse processes and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience using JDE desirable but not essential
  • Strong level of written and verbal communication
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment
  • Having Counterbalance forklift license desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrate a high attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities in a high-volume work environment

The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
