The Suburban Connect consortium, comprising CPB Contractors, ACCIONA and Ghella, have been selected by the Victorian Government to deliver the first major tunnelling package on the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East project.

The package includes construction of a 16-kilometre section of the project’s twin tunnels, including tunnelling between Cheltenham and Glen Waverley, 55 safety cross passages between the tunnels, station boxes at Clayton and Monash and the construction of portals – the entrances and exits to the tunnels – at the stabling facility.

About the Opportunity:

Join our team as a Quality Advisor. You'll be the key to contributing and championing the Quality Objectives of the project, through assessing, reporting and managing quality.

Responsibilites of the role include:

  • Day-to-day management of quality deliverables for your assigned scope of work including promoting the completion and turnover of Worklots, Non-Conformance Report closure and Punch List management.
  • Review construction records and identification of any potential risks or non-conformances
  • Provide support and guidance to the Project Manager and delivery team ensuring the Quality Management System is implemented.
  • Provide support and guidance to the delivery team in relation to Completions Management System Requirement.
  • Attend site to complete process control inspections.
  • Project supplier and construction works auditing support.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Ideally 3-5 years’ experience in an identical or similar role
  • Qualifications or experience in a previous Quality Role or equivalent
  • Qualifications or experience in a previous Completions Role or equivalent
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications or training in a Quality, Completions or related discipline highly regarded
  • Experience in the construction industry highly regarded
  • Engineering or Trade Qualification
