Your Opportunity

CPB Contractors are currently seeking Supervisors with a background in civil works (Earthworks/Structures) to join our team. Responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project
  • Monitoring construction progress and compliance to safety and environmental standards
  • Forward planning daily/weekly/monthly construction work including resource requirements and trade coordination
  • Sourcing the appropriate and cost-efficient resources necessary for key project deliverables including labour and plant equipment
  • Ensuring all subcontractors/labour understand the scope of work assigned to them, their related contractual obligations, project policies and procedures
  • Assist in developing strategies to reduce costs and improve productivity

Minimum requirements for this role include the following:

  • Tertiary Qualification in a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role in the Civil Construction industry
  • Hold proven verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to influence the team to ensure a safe place of work by setting clear safety responsibilities and holding workers and subcontractors accountable.
  • Ability to drive progressive completion of incomplete and defective work to ensure works are delivered in line with the program
