Reporting to the Project Director the Bid Submission Manager will be accountable for the management and submission of high-quality proposals (including expressions of interest, tenders, proposals and presentations to clients) for major infrastructure PPP bids, inclusive of leading the preparation, review and final submission along with interactive client meetings. 

Located in either Sydney or Melbourne the role will:  

  • Develop and lead the implementation of the bid submission strategy and process
  • Manage the preparation, review, and submission through interactive engagement with the client(s) and manage the communication with stakeholders on the submission strategy and timelines  
  • Manage the writing and graphic design resources to produce clear and high-quality submissions, with the ability to creatively write, edit, format and design when necessary
  • Manage and coordinate all related material for client interactive tender processes and other client presentations.
  • Provide strategic support to Project Director with stakeholder and community engagement, business planning and marketing activities

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline, for example marketing / communications / project management
  • Demonstrated (5 years minimum) experience in bid writing or a similar level role, preferably in Construction or related industry
  • Exceptional communication skills – written (including demonstrated proposal writing expertise), verbal, graphical representation and facilitation / presentation skills
  • Proven proposal management skills with ability to manage, plan and promise multiple activities in time critical situations
  • Strong IT skills – Microsoft office (minimum intermediate) Adobe (highly desirable)

This role can be located in Melbourne or Sydney and will require travel nationally and to New Zealand.
