Your role in the team

EIC Activities is now looking across Australia for a UI/UX Simulation Developer to join our Virtual Builder Team. In this role you will support a cutting-edge multi-discipline team in solving problems for major construction project delivery via the intersection of AEC software precision tools, web based common environments, and 3D simulation.

As a simulation software developer, you will be part of a team being formed to create a new software product to combine models and information from various existing digital engineering disciplines, with operational construction talent to plan and execute virtual construction tasks to help deliver world class projects.

Key requirements

  • Experience with the design, prototype and implementation of UX components for Unity3D
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement to gather requirements and synthesize use cases
  • Experience with SVN and/or GIT version-control software
  • 5 years of experience in software development and delivery

Role responsibilities

  • Deliver sketches, wireframes and prototypes
  • Design, prototype and implement UX components
  • Develop and distribute style guides and component libraries
  • Educate the wider business on design thinking techniques and be a champion of UX
  • Work in an agile environment, perform task break downs and provide estimates for work
  • Code Review
