Your role in the team

EIC Activities is now looking for a Senior Unity Developer to join our Virtual Builder team. In this role you will support a cutting-edge multi-discipline team in solving problems for major construction project delivery via the intersection of AEC software precision tools, web based common environments, and 3D simulation.

As a unity simulation software developer, you will be part of a team being formed to create a new software product to combine models and information from various existing digital engineering disciplines, with operational construction talent to plan and execute virtual construction tasks to help deliver world class projects.

Key requirements

  • Demonstrated mastery of C# for Unity3D with strong coding standards

  • An understanding of good programming practices

  • Experience with GPU Programming and shaders

  • Experience in low-performance platform optimisation (targeting mobile devices)

  • Ability to work in a team and develop extendable, easily comprehendible code

  • Ability to create unit, integration and end to end tests

  • Experience with SVN and/or GIT version-control software

  • Able to develop across multiple platforms (PC, Mac, Web, iOS, Android)

  • Working knowledge of 3D modelling, lighting, UV-mapping and texturing

  • Experience working with Restful APIs and Authentication Workflows in Unity3D Desirable

Role responsibilities

  • Design, implementation, integration and test of software components and concepts for EIC design and construction simulation system

  • Develop & document the design of the software architecture, internal and external interfaces

  • Work in an agile environment, perform task break downs and provide estimates for work

  • Code Review
