To support our success we are currently seeking an Maintenance Strategist to join our team based in Brisbane. This position is responsible for maintenance strategy development and optimisations primarily, and for management and implementation of all asset maintenance systems and master data related functions for Sedgman Operations.

The key responsibilities of the position include:

•Provide advice on asset maintenance master data to stakeholders
•Understand the impact of maintenance master data on business processes and procedures
•Perform maintenance master data management and governance
•Understand the impact of maintenance master data changes across other business elements
•Manage asset maintenance master data input, output and cleansing
•Apply change management to the maintenance system and master data
•Provide first response support to maintenance system users
•Develop asset structures, maintenance plans, tasks and materials lists
•Develop critical spares listings and lubrication schedules
•Maintenance strategy development and optimisations for plant and mobile equipment
•Develop, manage and update maintenance documents
•Perform maintenance management and systems audits
•Participate as a key role in the preparation and implementation of operational readiness projects
•Prepare and facilitate training sessions in the areas of maintenance management and systems
•Mentor others in the areas of maintenance management and systems

What are we looking for in our future team member?

•Industry experience, preferably within a maintenance engineering or relevant trade role
•Practical working knowledge of CMM Systems, preferably SAP (PM and MM) and JDE
•The ability to understand and apply SAP master data standards
•Understanding of and proficiency in Maintenance Management Systems
•Excellent document management skills
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
